The great space station *StarWhisper* was huge, with rooms that spun like giant tops and windows that showed the endless blue of the universe. Inside, seven-year-old Leo sat at his desk, polishing his favorite toy rocket. The station was quiet, but then, a sound came from the dark corner of the room.

*Tick... tock... hush...*

It was a tiny, secret whisper coming from the shadows. Leo's eyes grew wide. It wasn't a monster, he thought. It sounded like a little clock trying to sleep.

Leo stood up slowly and walked toward the dark corner. There, sitting on a floating shelf, was a small, silver beetle with a watch on its back.

"Hello?" Leo whispered. "Shhh!" said the beetle. He tapped his watch. The hands were spinning so fast they looked like a blur. "We must hurry! The Time Portals are opening!" "Time Portals?" Leo asked. He touched his head. The ceiling looked like it was spinning. The floor felt slippery. "Is this real, Tick?" "Real as your toy rocket, Leo! Look!" Tick pointed. The air around the shelf began to shimmer like heat rising from the sun. A swirl of green and gold appeared. "It's a portal to yesterday! And another to tomorrow!" "Wow!" Leo gasped. He grabbed his toy rocket. "Can I go inside?" "Only if you can find the lost hourglass before the station spins too fast!" Tick said quickly. "If the hourglass falls, the whole station will freeze!" "I can do it!" Leo said bravely. He stepped into the green portal. The world turned upside down, and then right side up again. He was standing on a path made of soft, glowing stars.

They walked through the portal to the past, to a time when the stars were just twinkling lights. They walked through the second portal to the future, where the stars were singing songs. But the path was tricky. A big, fluffy cloud blocked the way to the hourglass.

"What do I do, Tick?" Leo asked, tugging on his cape. "You must be kind to the cloud," Tick said. "Clouds are shy. They like to be hugged gently." "I'll try!" Leo walked up to the fluffy cloud. He gave it a soft, gentle hug. "There you go, little cloud. It's okay to float." The cloud melted away, revealing a small, blue hourglass with a golden handle. It was hiding behind a rock.

"Found it!" Leo cheered. He picked up the hourglass. It felt warm in his hand. "Good job, Leo!" Tick said. "Now we must bring it back to the main hall before the station shakes again."

Leo and Tick ran back through the time portals. When they arrived in the main hall, the station was spinning very fast. The coffee cups were dancing in the air, and the toys were sliding across the floor.

"Hurry!" Leo shouted as he tripped over his own feet. "Put it on the pedestal!" Tick yelled. Leo placed the hourglass on the special pedestal in the center of the room. *Click!* The spinning stopped. Everything was still and calm again. The toys sat quietly on the floor. The coffee cups floated down gently.

"We did it!" Leo said, breathing hard. "You saved the day, Leo," Tick said. "But wait..." Tick pointed to the door. A new person was walking in.

It was a stranger wearing a shiny silver suit. He had a friendly smile, but his eyes were twinkling with a secret. He looked right at Leo. He didn't say hello. He just smiled and whispered, almost too quietly to hear.

"Leo knows how to hug the clouds," the stranger said softly. Leo froze. He had never told anyone that. He looked at Tick, but Tick was just a beetle with a watch.

"Who are you?" Leo asked, his voice shaking a little. "I'm just a traveler," the stranger said. "But I've seen your secret before, Leo. You saved the hourglass with a hug." The stranger walked closer, placing a warm hand on Leo's shoulder.

"You know me?" Leo asked. "I do," the stranger said with a gentle smile. "And now, the adventure begins again."
