The sun was shining brightly over the little town of Willow Creek. It was a beautiful morning, and the birds were singing their sweet melodies. In a cozy little house on a quiet street, a gentle mother, Mrs. Emma, was getting ready for the day.
Mrs. Emma's two-year-old daughter, Lily, was playing with her favorite stuffed rabbit, Mr. Fluffers, in the living room. She was wearing a bright yellow sundress with white flowers, and her curly brown hair was tied up in pigtails.
Just as Mrs. Emma was about to give Lily her breakfast, the doorbell rang. It was their neighbor, Mrs. Rachel, with a big smile on her face.
"Good morning, Emma! I brought over some freshly baked muffins for the kids. I hope Lily enjoys them."
Mrs. Emma smiled and invited Mrs. Rachel in. Lily, who was busy playing with Mr. Fluffers, suddenly stopped and looked at the muffins with curiosity.
"Ooh, muffins! Can I have one, Mommy?"
Mrs. Emma laughed and handed Lily a small muffin. Lily's eyes widened with excitement as she took a bite.
Mmm... This is so yummy! "I'm glad you like them, sweetie. Now, why don't we get started on our bedtime routine? It's getting a bit late, and we don't want to be late for nap time."
Mrs. Emma looked surprised. Bedtime routine? But it's not even close to bedtime! She thought to herself.
"I think you're right, Rachel. But how can we do a bedtime routine at 9 am?"
Mrs. Rachel smiled mischievously. I've been planning a surprise for the kids. "We're going to have a special morning bedtime routine to get them ready for a fun adventure. It's going to be a surprise!"
Lily's eyes sparkled with excitement. Oh boy! A surprise? "I love surprises, Mommy! What's going to happen?"
Mrs. Emma smiled and leaned in close. This is going to be an adventure indeed! "I think we'll just have to wait and see, sweetie. But let's get started on our routine. We have to put on our pajamas and brush our teeth."
As they began to get ready, Lily noticed that Mrs. Rachel was whispering to her mother. I wonder what they're planning? "What's going on, Mommy? Why are you whispering?"

"Hey, Mom! I brought over some extra supplies for our adventure. We have to get going now, or we'll miss our bus!"
Lily's eyes widened with excitement. An adventure? A bus? This is going to be so much fun! "I want to go on the bus, Mommy! I want to see where we're going!"
Mrs. Emma smiled and grabbed Lily's hand. Let's get moving, kiddo! We have a big adventure ahead of us! "Come on, Lily. We have to hurry! We don't want to be late for the bus!"
As they ran out the door, Mrs. Rachel called out after them. Don't worry, I'll take care of the house! "Have fun, kids! See you when you get back!"
